There are NO day tickets available for students, academic participants or presenting authors.

Please note: Workshops taking place ahead of the GOR 17 conference on Wednesday, 15 March 2017, are not covered by the conference fee. You have to register for them separately. You can do so when registering for the conference via ConfTool. More information on the workshop fees can be found below.

Registration fees for presenting authors at GOR 17:
Authors with accepted submissions to be presented at GOR 17 have to register for conference participation by 31 January 2017. Otherwise there can be no guarantee for their presentation to be included in the conference programme.

Please note: No matter how many authors have worked on a submission and would like to present their work at GOR 17, only one is allowed to register using the presenting author discount. Any further authors attending GOR 17 have to pay the normal rate applicable to them.

How much are the fees for the workshops on 15 March 2017?

The conference fee does not include participation in any of the workshops held prior to the GOR conference on Wednesday, 15 March 2017. Workshops have to be booked additionally via ConfTool and paid accordingly.

If you are not planning to attend the conference but would like to attend any of the workshops, please register via the GOR 17 ConfTool as well and tick the box “workshop only” when asked to indicate your registration status. Then you can sign up for the workshop you would like to attend.

Prices for Workshops:

Workshop (2.5 hrs):

Normal Rate: 40 € per person
Student Rate: 20 € per person (student ID needs to be uploaded when registering via ConfTool)

Workshop (5 hrs):

Normal Rate: 80 € per person
Student Rate: 40 € per person (student ID needs to be uploaded when registering via ConfTool)

When can I register for GOR 17?

Registration for GOR 17 has started.

How can I register for GOR 17?

Conference registration can only be done online via the GOR 17 ConfTool from December 2016. You can access the GOR 17 ConfTool here.

If you have not already submitted a contribution for GOR 17 but wish to attend the conference, you need to create a user account for the GOR 17 ConfTool first. Once you have done this, you can register for conference attendance. More information on the ConfTool can be found here.

If you are registering someone else: please fill out the form to create a user account for that person. In order to also receive all the registration data, insert your email address in the field “Personal Assistant E-mail (cc E-mail)”.

How can I pay for my conference ticket and where do I get my invoice?

There are two payment options to choose from: by credit card using PayPal or by bank transfer. Pick one and complete your registration. Afterwards you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration. This e-mail will also include a link to your invoice which you can then print out. We will not be sending you an invoice by post unless you request one by contacting the DGOF office ( or call +49-(0)2233-99 88 220).

What are the terms of registration?

  • The registration of participation is binding.
  • If you have to cancel your registration until 31 December 2016, your paid conference fee will be fully refunded. If you have to cancel until 31 January 2017, 80 % of your paid conference fee will be refunded. In all other cases, the financial responsibilities of the participants remain fully effective, even if you are not able to attend the conference.
  • The participation fees are owed upon registration and are payable within 7 days following submission of the registration. If you are registering shortly before the conference and still have to pay your fee, make sure to inform the organizer via about the payment progress.
  • Participation is not guaranteed until full payment of the registration fee is received. The conference programme may be subject to changes.
  • Payments will be refunded if the conference will be canceled by the organizer. In that case, the organizer will have no further liability to the client. Registrations remain valid if the conference has to be postponed.
