The 7th international conference GENERAL ONLINE RESEARCH 2005 (GOR05) met in Zurich on March 22-23, 2005,
and was preceded by pre-conference workshops on Monday 21st.

GOR05 supports the discussion of innovative developments and practical experiences
in the fields of Internet science and online and mobile communications research.
GOR05 improved the exchange of knowledge between researchers and practitioners,
universities and companies engaged in Internet research.
GOR 2005 was visited by over 350 visitors from all over the world.
During the two conference days about 150 presentations about current research or
applied topics were given.
GOR05 was organized by the German Society for Online Research (DGOF e.V.)
in collaboration with PD Dr. Ulf-Dietrich Reips, Prof. Dr. Klaus Jonas, and their team at the Social
and Business Psychology, Department of Psychology, University of Zurich.
The next GOR will take place from March 20th until March 22nd 2006 in Bielefeld, Germany.
