The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Online-Forschung – DGOF e.V. (German Society for Online Research), in consultation with the local event partner HTW Berlin, has decided to postpone General Online Research 2022 (GOR 22) to September 2022. Originally, the conference was scheduled to take place on site at HTW Berlin from 16 to 18 March 2022.
This decision was made by the DGOF board in view of the rapidly increasing incidence of Covid-19, the rapidly spreading Omicron variant and the associated uncertainties regarding travel, access and number of participants. The exact date for GOR 22 in September has not yet been set, but will be announced by the DGOF office as soon as possible.
“We do not want to organise an online GOR next year, but look forward to meeting in person. Nevertheless, the safety of our participants must remain a priority and we currently see no way to guarantee this for March. We regret the inconvenience this postponement will mean for all participants,” says DGOF Board Chairman Dr Otto Hellwig.
The General Online Research Conference (GOR) of the German Society for Online Research e.V. (DGOF) will take place for the 24th time in 2022. The aim of the conference is to discuss and analyse innovations and developments in online research. GOR 22 takes place in cooperation with HTW Berlin.
